Alyhough I don't use Skype as much as Voip I found it would be an advantage to have it available. I had the older version a while ago but when I try to install the 3.6 version I get the message " unable to remove older 3.6 version, contact your service advisor"...I have scoured my comp..can't find a file or folder anywhere and even downloaded a programme which states it will remove the whole of skype but I still have the same problem. Anyone out there got any ideas please?? Thanks...Tel

Yes Ethel, there's also Vonage/VOIP, VoipTalk, and many others - but they're all VOIP. so to say "I don't use Skype as much as VOIP" is like saying "I don't wear shoes as much as leather foot-coverings with soles" :-)

Try this, but be aware that you could lose your contact list unless it is backed up. Even then Skype can help you as they still have such things on their servers:
