i fancy going to either mexico or cuba to do some scuba diving in october / november / december... which ones best - any recomendations for areas to stay, hotels, excursion companies etc, also whats the weather like at that time of year ??? thanks

you are on the end of the hurricane season in both places, actually last october it was the woprst Hurricane season for a long time and alot of Cancuun was destroyed. Why not visit the PADI website and check out their recomended Dive Sites in the Caribbean. There is actually an excellent Scuba Club on Antigua and they are all PADI qualified and very safety conscious and so they would be worth contacting too.

Hello i have just come back from sharm in egypt and it was great was told by one of the instrutors who is a mexican that sharm was far better than mexico, hope this helps.
