Assuming the unchecked letter in 12 is N has anyone got a hint to offer beyond that?

The only thing I've come up with so far is that the 12 is MM - but it's not helping me so far!

PS. Apologies for those of you without the paper - this is a thematic, complicated crossword and it'd take ages to explain.

yes that is the obvious one - what shape can be made from 7 cels??

Never, it's not MM, Think of another, earlier 12 who was famous for many 'seedy' quotes. I think the shape is rather a loose description of her attributes.

The shape is only an indirect reference to the subject's "attributes", via another object

Yes, not sure whether the shape is meant to be a bow, an arch (like her pithy sayings) or a curve (like her 'attributes' !). Plumped for the latter but doesn't affect the grid thankfully.
