... make you want to have a pee?

I ambled into the kitchen, turned on a tap to fill the washing up bowl & was stricken with a desire to empty my bladder ... I resisted the urge and it disappeared as soon as the tap was turned off.

An hour later I still don't need a wee - or didn't until I started to think about running taps ... so what on earth is going on?

It happens to me when I clean the toilet -as soon as its lovely fresh and clean I need to go lol!
When humans were hunter gathering, the sound of him weeing would alert prey that a human was about. So background noise such as a stream would mask the sound of him weeing. And weeing into a stream would take his scent away from the area so in future prey would think it safe.
So it is stuck in our DNA like waking up with a start, to stop us falling out of trees.
I always seem to want to go just as I'm getting warm and snug and dropping off under the duvet. ...Why is that ;-(
