There's a press release from the BBC today, giving highlights of their Christmas schedule:

So what will you, or won't you, be watching?

The problem with "Hootenanny" is that it is on soooo late at night.
I will watch it on iPlayer on a Wednesday afternoon in February.
Gromit you cannot go to bed early on NYE!!!!!

I think Gromit is just in a very silly mood tonight, Sharon!

Can I have some of what you're drinking, please, Gromit?
;-)
aaaah Chris, the Hartnell days.....eheu fugaces.......

Far too much being kissed by drunken strangers on NYE for my liking. Don't want to wake up in A&E on New Years Day, having spittal pumped out and being visited by Dave Lee Travis.
Ew, Gromit!!

It was the Dave Lee Travis reference wasn't it? - sorry :-)
Gromit, why on earth would you end up in A&E?? Everybody is in a happy mood and just want to show it.
Plenty there for me to dip in and out of and there are other channels too - a fair selection.
Not sure what I will be doing, so it is a bit early for me to decide.
This year is the first year in over 30 years that I won't be working - so I will be watching everything :)

If a visit to A&E is not on your intinery on New Years, you're doing it wrong.
The Dickens sounds good....its been a long time since we had a good BBC Dickens !
Channel 4 used to show some good films over Christmas. I remember Leni Riefenstahl's, Triumph of the Will, was shown one year.
Gromit, I don't think so. I don't go out with the intent of causing trouble.
Haha thank you Buen. It wasn't that bad then.
