My Lovely Nephew

Putting Maxie out the back tonight and noticed I have a massive water mark on my ceiling in the kitchen. Knew it was coming from the toilet in the bathroom.

Rang my nephew a plumber about 9.15 there and he said he would come tomorrow - I said fine but then found out myself water was pouring down a copper pipe.

Up he comes at 9.35 and fixed the lot for me. Flew out like a whippet before I could give him some money and he locked the van and drove away.

Not many nephews would do that for you particularly he was enjoying Celebrity.

I am lucky in that most of my nephews would do anything for me - I do try and avoid it and pay builders etc but know I wouldn't get anybody tonight.

Now to get somebody to paint ceiling - will wait until it dries out a bit - will ask friend's husband - he told me any jobs I want done he will come down. I feel lucky lucky lucky - jennyjoan/connemmara - sorry Ummmmm
