After losing 2 general elections back to back it is clear that Blairism has run its course and the British electorate will not vote for that. So the Labour Party had to change and has done. Unfortunately that leaves the Blairites isolated in the party. It may be painful for the letter writer to be swept away, but a clear out is needed.
During the leadership election, the Blairite candidate, Andy Burnham, got a paltry 80,000 votes. Corbyn got over 250,000. Unfortunately for him, the Parliamentary Party is stuffed full of Blairites, who do not accept the democratic process and want to oust the leader.
The Labour Party resembles a car crash at the moment, and there will be multiple pile-ups before things improve.

Trouble is, a split in the party will take it backwards. The SDP where the exactly successful in the end were they? Whist Labour are infighting it will keep them out of office for more than a generation. With Corbyn voting again this party more times than anyone else he can't knock other members for following their consciences ( but he'll try)
just demonstrates what I have said many times, Hell hath no fury like a lefty not concurred with. They know they're "right" that means if you do not concur you must be a simpleton to be bullied. I feel so sad for the grass roots sensible Labour supporters who have now been hijacked by the the reds under the bed, having previously endured the pound shop tories.
