I will trade anything for 24a. I am also stuck on 25b.
25a is Marco Polo. Anyone got 24a? Morocco or Tunisia?
I have answer 25a and e, still need 25b and of course 24a.
They're all beginning to look the same to me. 25b is similar to but older than the cover pic on William Harrison's book "Burton & Speke". It also looks like a sketch of Robert O'Hara Burke ... 25e I'll have to go for Magellan, but still not convinced. STILL stuck on 24a. I'm sure it's Europe.
24A definately Rajasthan India Have been there and seen them for myself.

relish40: we would sooo like to believe you, however could you please supply a city name or an url where we could verify your information please?
seaofs, have checked jaiselmer and jodphur and can't find any of tiled frontages like this. The style is similar but seem to be carved. I REALLY want it to be India, my husband is going potty at me on this pc- but I NEED to know!!!
25b is certainly Christopher Columbus - a picture is on the Corbis website
These people who are willing to trade answers make me laugh. The ones they are offering come straight from the uk.rec.competitions newsgroup
Netfamily: I think you may be mixing numbers as 25B is definitely NOT Christopher Columbus.
