Good morning everyone - heading for another hot one here today but at least it's not going to hang around for too long .... roll on Autumn !!

Well the anticipated curve ball didn't eventuate in spite of my pessimism and four quite gettable (?) matches emerged, so much so that ....well you'll just have to wait and see ...

And the HOT SHOT for the week was CLIFFYG who collected the jackpot of 10 points for correctly selecting all four !!! Nice going, cliffy, did Jess help out ??

A good sprinkling of points saw most move up the Leader Board though there are a few stragglers propping up the bar, getting settled in before the cold stuff arrives ... what am I going to do with you lot ??

Next week sees the beginning of the silly season but I'll be staying put for Christmas and things will be as normal ( well what passes for normal anyway) so I'll see you all then for the start of a new round ...till then, stay safe, skz.

jess is a marvel
she loves a nibble of french bread and the odd strawberry and is not averse to eating them off bone china if she gets the chance
our previous labrador piper was blind for several years

the house was in turmoil this week our three piece suite was being recovered and downstairs carpets being replaced
the pc was disconnected as my small study was being decorated and i am still searching for a new blind
lunch was french bread and cheese off garden chairs in the front room so i had plenty of inspiration

everyone is round for christmas so our pristine front room will not stay that way for long
