Scooter Insurance - Rhon scooter

We have just bought an imported scooter from E-bay for my 16 yr old son. It is a Rhon 50cc scooter. Because Rhon is not listed on many insurance companies database it is proving more expensive to insure.

Anyone had a similar problem and managed to find reasonable insurance?

We are looking for third party fire and theft cover.

Chinese import? May be a copy of a better-known model - if so, and you can find the original, the insurance company might be able to work on that.
