I really need to apply for a loan. If I apply for more than one (say I get turned down by one and have to try again elsewhere) does this affect my credit rating with the other companies? Plus can anyone advise me a loan company where I can borrow 3000 if my credit score is not good?

searches are recorded and some lenders do use that data in their decision process. So if you have had a lot of searches then it won't help.

You cannot borrow from any reputable outfit if your credit rating is not good. Would you lend you money?

You'll have to use a reverse loan I'm afraid.
