Mirrored box
Hi this is a bit random but i was wondering, if u had a box made of mirrors, (on the inside) and you could somehow get light into the box without disturbing the reflecting abilities of the box, would the inside of the box remain lit? Or would the mirrors have to be 100% efficient? and is that possible? or where would the light go?

If someone invented a 100% perfect reflector (imposible, I imagine), then it should be possible to have a small opening through which to shine some light at an angle so that it doesnt reflect straight out, and then quickly close the opening ...
The light would then bounce around forever, but the box would not really remain 'lit'. If we say 'lit', then we are imagining being able to 'see' the glow emanating from the box. Any opening through which to see, would let the light out pretty quickly.
If the opening in the box was opened sometime later then I suppose a brief flash could be detected as the photons emerged...
