What Is The Best Pain Killer For Stomach Pain?

I have a sore stomach. It's in the area just below my ribcage and not like period pains which are further down above the pubic bone. Is co codamol ok to take? Obviously I'll be careful about how many I take and for how long.

Not enough information about the pain e.g for how long has it been present,is it there all the time, doe anything make it worse, does anything make it better.........that sort of thing.

Sounds if it could be indigestion type pain. Paracetamol taken with boiled water was recommended to me by GP and works brilliantly.

My stomach started to feel a bit sore from early evening yesterday Sqad. I had developed a bit of a sore head an hour or so previous to that. I thought maybe I had trapped wind so took a spoonful of Bicarbonate of Soda mixed in 300ml of cool boiled water. Shortly afterwards I had a bout of diarrhoea resulting in six or so trips to the loo before it finally stopped. I'm not sure if it was the Bicarbonate of soda that caused the diarrhoea or maybe it would have a happened anyway. I woke up this morning feeling a bit under the weather though not massively and have stomach pain again but not running to the loo at least. So stomach bug or I've went overboard of the BOS...?

My cousin is dropping off some Buscopan to me as she says that may be better that co-codamol (which is the only pain relief I have in the house at present).

Co codamol is certainly worth a try.

Buscopan.......I should hold back as this drug is better for "colicky pains"
