Cpc Driver Training
2 Answers
Hello everyone. I am thinking about starting a small freight company. Can anyone inform me of the CPC requirements for drivers of vehicles carrying freight in vans upto 3.5tn. Also what are the tachometer requirements. If anyone knows anything about future planned alterations to the above points I would also appreciate some info on that....so basically CPC now and future plans. Tacho now and future plans...for drivers up to 3.5tn. All info much appreciated, thanks

As the rules are laid down by EU legislation (and it takes ages for all EU countries to agree on any changes), nothing is likely to change within the foreseeable future.
CPC rules only apply to goods vehicles within the 'C' licence categories. A normal 'B' (car) licence is all that is required for vehicles up to 3.5t

Unless Google is being unusually obstinate, there seem to be no plans to extend the CPC rules to van drivers.
