I'm thinking of using these in a highly insulated timber frame new-build, rather than the old storage heaters.

They'll be combined with solar panels, so I'm not too concerned over running costs, rather a good level of control over temp. settings and timers.

Anyone have any experience of them?

I don't but I'm sure mrs_o would approve!
No experience of using them boss, but electricity for direct heating purposes is eminently more controllable than other sources. There's no hysteresis delay between the control method and the heat generation.

BM, thanks for that. A good point. Certainly, more responsive control must raise the overall efficiency of the system. The wiring's pretty simple too :o)
