Don't click the 'buy' tab, just the 'download' one. Then run a full scan. Should clear it.

Hi
My PC continues to get highjacked when I am online. It is happening every few minutes and sometimes several times a minute. Below is an example of the text that appears when the rover.ebay.com web address suddenly appears in the brouser.
I have ran a malwarebytes scan but no success. Any further help appreciated.

You are not alone and adware cleaner has worked for some. It's a trustworthy site and I use the awwcleaner myself, so I know it won't cause any problems. Download the FREE program

First, try resetting your Firefox Browser to default settings. Info on how to do that can be found at https:/ /suppor t.mozil la.org/ en-US/k b/refre sh-fire fox-res et-add- ons-and -settin gs
If that does not sort the problem, then download and save the latest Firefox version installation package from https:/ /www.mo zilla.o rg/en-U S/firef ox/new/ ?utm_so urce=fi refox-c om& utm_med ium=ref erral
then, uninstall your current Firefox browser and run the downloaded installation package to perform a new installation of Firefox.
If you have any Bookmarks that you want to keep, then export and save them to a file and after the re-installation import back to Firefox. See https:/ /suppor t.mozil la.org/ en-US/k b/expor t-firef ox-book marks-t o-backu p-or-tr ansfer
and

Hopefully that will remove the problem.

Just an update on this
I have tried all the suggestions, including installing adwcleaner which HC4361 suggested. Initially I thought it had worked and to a degree it has in that my web broser is being affected less, but is still happening. Just a question for HC, should it have installed an icon on my desktop so I can run it whenever I want? I can't see anything, and not sure where to find it if I want to run it again. Any further suggestions appreciated before I call in a local techie. Thanks
