I was cooked for tonight...it was very nice but I can't pronounce it...or spell it....well the tomato thing I can pronounce and spell.....but not the meaty bit......xx

The secret, Psyb....is you cook once for somebody.....badly....but tell them it's the best you can do.....looking crestfallen.....a little tear in the corner of the eye helps......
Say how much you enjoy good, well cooked food......the sort of food they cook.....
Keep this up until you get an invite......then ask what they will be doing with the leftovers.....will they be heating it up tomorrow.....bet it'll be good...

It is very stressful!!! I just found out today that my son's girlfriend drinks a special kind of rum that I am gonna have to run around looking for tomorrow!!!!

Need to travel westwards on Friday, home on Monday and west again for Christmas Eve. Fed up of trains. Plus all the little things like posting the cards, decorating the tree and the windows, present wrapping, still some to buy, cancel milk, papers, PACK.
Oh, daughter's oven packed up again after being repaired three days ago.
