Languages Of Google Chrome.
The downside of changing from W7 to 10 has been that my screen is now festooned with ads slowing things down and as I am using old Google I can't now use adblockplus but believe I can do so with Chrome.
Yesterday I installed it and though the process was done in English, because I am in Germany I got Google Chrome German version (now uninstalled).
My question is; how can I either install it in English or is there a way to change the German version - if that is what is given- to English please?

This should give you Chrome in English.
If you want to use Google.co.uk as your default search engine, you will need to configure it manually, as follows:
Click the Settings hamburger
Click Manage search Settings
In the bottom section scroll down to the "Add new Search Engine" field.
Type in google.co.uk in the first and second fields
In the third field type "http://www.google.co.uk/search?#q=%s" without the quotes
Tab out of the third field and clicked finished
Click again on Manage Search settings
Hover over the entry you just created and click Make Default (which is only visible when you hover).

I gave up the struggle with Chrome and language. AB is impossible in old Google with so many ads, blockers don't work in W10, so I tried Firefox for a browser - amazing! it asks which language you want it in before you start, it's clean, smart I have no adds and everything runs like a Swiss watch.
