The GP is the "leader of the Orchestra" and the Consultant is only for his ( the Consultant's) opinion.
The GP need not accept the opinion of the Consultant, but 99 times out of 100, the GP does and the Consultant takes over the case.

Thanks Sqad. I have a vision of The Fall Clinic being full of 80 + 90 year olds being taught how to use a zimmer, etc, but I have since found out that it will open many doors for me...occ therapists will come to my home + see what they can offer like grab rails, etc., and whether I need a pendant alarm etc...
