I find it very difficult to understand religion. I went to a normal secondary school in london in the 50/60's, we had a religeous instruction lesson once a week for thirty minutes, we did the nativity at christmas, we were walked to the local church for a service at Easter.
Today, If I were to see a muslim or anyone else burning or defacing a picture of god or jesus, I would not try to kill him,I would just assume he is a mentally disturbed person and walk off. The C of E and Catholic religion promotes love and kindness, but that aside, I would guess that the majority of people have no interest in religion whatsoever, it is not a part of their daily life, unlike possibly Jews and muslims. Do these people have nothing else in life?
