It appears that our culture of accepting arrest for drink-driving as an occupational hazard is not disappearing as quickly as we might hope.
My views on drink driving are very simple - zero tolerance, lifetime ban.

In any case any limit set is arbitrary, as witnessed by differences across nations. And like most of those types of laws a warning is more appropriate for anyone just over the legal limit. I sometimes despair at the type of controlling punitive society some hope for, push for, and support. It's a society for the improvement of individual citizens' lives, not a country sized concentration prison camp.
