sure its not greece! Do you have a definitive answer on 24C? Equally sure that it isnt Turkey. Still looking for confirmation on both these - think the rest is done.

sandielenton:I think that 24c is probably Turkey- it's what I thought it was and got confirmation from someone else- any reason why you are equally sure it isn't? But like you I am pretty sure that 24a is not Greece! Architecture is all wrong in mho. Any ideas? Trouble is I know I have seen it somewhere so it is doubly bugging me!!

24a.....have just been for a walk. went to WHSmith and looked at a small book called (from memory) Aegean Islands by the AA...it has one of those "wire" spines. look under pyrgi or pirgi and there is the photo in colour! paul

Fantastic work to all the ones that found Greece for 24a. I am absolutely sure that 24c is Turkey, the region of Cappadocia to be more exact, it was my inkling from the first moment I saw the photograph!
