Increddible Weather Here In Mid Wales !

I thought it was wet in Swansea, but it nothing compared to here !

We all went for little walkies today at the Clywedog Dam but were completely defeated by the rain. The scenery in the area is stunning, although we couldn't see a ruddy thing !

Found a smashing cafe at Llanbrynmair ! They sold those wooden mechanical toy kits that you may have seen around

It's not been a lot better here in Kent either although not heavy rain.

Every little stream and brook is a raging torrent, and the rivers look dangerously high to me. Most of roads around here are essentially small country lanes and we had to be very carefull of flooding around every bend. I spoke to a farmer this afternoon and he said he had to move some livestock up to higher ground.

I can't wait for a good old-fashioned frost. I don't think we're going to get one though. I might go to Scandinavia for my next holiday.

I wish I was in Canada - sun so bright you need sunglasses -deep and crisp and even - minus 30C but at least it feels Festive. UK +Water logged fields horizontal rain and temperatures on a par with an August bank holiday.
