The mechanic I worked with said that there had been a few female mechanics before and although they were skillful they lacked the physical strength to do some jobs.
But anyway, in answer to your question, as long as they're fully qualified then yes I would take my car to a female mechanic (as long as it was at a reputable garage).
Me thinks Funkymoped has been watching "Tooltime" ???
I wouldn't have a problem with a women mechanic if she knew what she was doing. If she looked like Jenny McCarthy that would be a bonus !!! Same for Vicky Butler-Henderson, now that girl can drive. I don't know why, but for me there is something real sexy about a girl with the skills normally found in the Male world. ;-)

Sure. Not that I have a car, but that's not the point i'm going to make. There are a group of girls that work in an all female garage, (can't remember where) but they compete in rally's and such. They don't do too bad as well and their car didn't break down in the last event I was at. Weren't last either. Some of them are quite good looking too.
Good Lord what a pointless question ! Of course I wouldn't ! It isn't a question of having the training, women just don't have any real respect for decent cars. Fair enough to let them vent their PMT on some piece-of-**** Fiat or Skoda, but no way would I let one near either the Jaguar or Mercedes. Not even to clean it !
