Christmasses Long Long Ago ........
57 Answers
We all keep memories of our childhood Christmasses - good or bad. What are some of your family traditions regarding Christmas which you never see often these days?
I remember going out with many from our church on Christmas Eve until around 10pm singing carols around the streets, standing under the lamp posts. Most people appreciated it as it was so "Christmassy" - many of the people we sang to were still wrapping presents and came to the doors with money to donate. We always refused it - we didn't do it for that reason, just to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and to (hopefully) pass on a bit of happiness to everyone.
Not sure some parents appreciated us waking their children though!
