Alicante - spain - prices

Due to ill heath, a friend has invited me ( with wife and Kid) to his rented apartment in Alicante area. Due to cash flow being out of work, we decided to go for four days. How much is a meal, beer or general things.

Depends where you go to get them.If you choose the main street or sea front expect to pay a bit more than off the main drag where it's often much nicer anyway

Got back about 3 weeks ago. We ate out every day because it was so cheap, money was tight as I am a nurse.Try the chinese wok buffet. 3 adults ate as much as you wanted for about �4 per head including a drink. Cost of living so much cheaper in general. An english meal in an english type bar cost about �4.50 per head, but was a really nice meal. Its about a third of what you would pay in this country.Super market wine in cartons works out about 60p a litre, not cooking wine, in fact it was very nice, unless your a wine buff. I stayed in an apartment in Playa Flamenca. I even came home with money, which was a first for me. Enjoy your break.
