Back to the hospice today. Always a pleasent, relaxing time.

Morning all !

I have been up most of the night with the residue of a bad cold I had on Boxing Day. I am now left with my usual awful catarrh, which was keeping me from sleeping. Now that I am up and about I feel much better, especially after my first LemSip of the day ?

Does anyone have a tried and tested way of getting rid of this catarrh ? Its almost disabling. Its a good thing I haven't got to go to works until next Monday.

One thing; you could try sleeping sitting up, or not lying flat anyway.

eucalyptus oil, mikey, into a steaming bowl, towel over the head and ten minutes breathing in......old fashioned way.

If you have blocked ears, use a small towel as hot as possible and place over your ears....the heat helps make it a little more 'liquid' and clear the Eustachian Tubes....

I do that with menthol crystals ^^^

Morning wbmxxx and all dampish but winds have gone thank goodness . Tomorrow I shall pick my daughter up and take her work as she will be out new years eve . Better me to go 5 miles than risk her getting stopped then her hubby will pick her up .Hope you all have a good evening .

Thanks Boaty...I will go and get some oil this morning. I am just about to have a very steamy bath that will do nothing for my wallpaper but should help to clear the tubes somewhat.
