We are getting a lift from suffolk to an overground train station to take us into london on thursday. I had suggested abbey wood into cannon street then walking to embankment which is where we need to go. There seems to be changes on that line which I have never come across before therefore I am asking if anyone can helpbme find alternative line to go in on please? Needs to be overground and within around 30mins walk from embankment . Thank you.

I'm assuming he means 'The Embankment' rather than Embankment Station.

Thanks so much buenchico, youve saved the day once again! Happy new year.
Am I missing something here? Why can't your lift take you to within walking distance of the Embankment? Even payment (if any) of Congestion Charge seems to be simpler and cheaper than messing about on trains.
