More Proof That We're All Migrants Whether We Like It Or Not!
There's been lots of debate in 2015 about Europe being swamped by migrants. Evidence is now backing up hypotheses that mass migration has been a regular, formative event.

There are many sides to this subject when it comes to discussing the current crisis, the way it is focussed on western Europe and reaction to it in these countries. I am not convinced that land mass or population density has much to do with any nation's ability to accept rising numbers of migrants in serious need of somewhere to stay. What does matter an awful lot...

It's people like you who bother me, Mosaic. Your idiocy is beyond belief.
You've come on here, basically to try and stir people up.
The Montgolfier Brothers, the inventors of the balloon in your avatar, were French. Look what's happened in Paris due to the Muslims. I don't think they'd be very supportive of your ideal world, dominated by Islam. You must hate women very much.

Well Talbot, now's the time to start a thread so you can discuss it.
You'll find plenty of exemplars if you search t'interweb of how your interaction is a classic example of trolling. Repeated haranguing phrases, diverting from a topic etc.
But really and seriously, to discuss trolling and bullying behavior, you need to start up a new thread. This thread is not about you. It's been an interesting insight into how people work online, and how they might perform in a live debate.

> Ellipsis, we have no evidence that warfare was part of all past mass migration events.
The point is that historic mass migration events, and the success or otherwise of them (especially from the point of view of the host society), are no indication of future migration success. The world has changed, the means of migration have changed, the reasons for migration have changed and the relative strengths of the migrants and host societies have changed.
> I am interested in the opinions of others as to which UK needs caused the UK to rush to Afghanistan and Iraq (let's limit it to those two)
Political posturing, mostly. There remains the great (IMO unanswered) question of WMD.
> when did the EU force the UK into that
They didn't.
