Freeview TV AND Freeview Box - is it possible?

The reason I ask is that I have to get a new TV anyway, and if Standard Life float, I am going to spend some of the share money on that. The thing is, I have realised (I don't think many people have) is that come the analogue switch off, we are not going to have the option of watching one channel while recording another as we do now (unless I get a dual digital box, which I know you can get).

I already have a Freeview box though, so would it be possible to connect that to a digital TV, or is there going to be a channel conflict - namely the two sources overlapping. Anyone know?

Come the revolution, TV sets will come with inbuilt digital decoders, as will recorders (Disc, tape, magic string or whatever).

Today we can watch "American Graffiti" on one channel whilst recording �urovi$ion on the other channel because we have two UHF tuners and receivers, ie. one in the trusty VCR (or magic string recorder) and another in the TV.

When we are all watching digitally encoded TV in 2012 we will still be able to watch "American Graffiti" whilst recording �urovi$ion, so no change there. There will be one decoder/receiver in the TV and another in the recorder.
