Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

First, Happy New Year to all EVers! Spent between Christmas and New Year in London at the flat without internet connection, which was actually quite refreshing, until back home when there were lots of e-mails to respond to or delete!
Enjoyed this EV, Bradfords and the BRB were most helpful in respect of the affected answers which were clued without definition! Even managed to learn some new words! Am now on a diet having made an absolute thematic person of myself!

Had expected devadolly to start a thread after her New Year's Resolution to be somewhat more N&Cish in 2016!

Hi Doc this is the third time I have tried to post, twice yesterday and now today. AB seems to want to freeze me out. Was late leaving it to yesterday as had the dreaded lurgey since Sat. Not doing too well as grey cells still bunged up, so some heavy hints would be appreciated. Also some hints for 1207 wouldn't go amiss.

Belated reply to Ringer..... no, we were not flooded at home but Himself almost got stranded in Lancaster when the Lune burst its banks.

I had a nudge so here is one for you.
1A is an anagram of two 4 letter words and then a word has to be inserted for the entry.
That word is indicated by the first 4 extra letters (two words).

devadolly, didn't realise this thread was still running! As Hankir has indicated 1a is thematic, the word that is inserted is the smallest of something that I don't think you raise on your one-time dairy farm! A quick dive into the BRB for the anagram of the 2 four letter words should then give a very heavy guide to the phrase. Bradford's is then very helpful.

As for 1207, the mixes are all liquid and the clues that have numbers give the ingredients!

Pleased to hear you have not suffered flood damage at home, but it is still obviously a concern for you.

Are you going to start a thread for 1209, or should I start one?
