Ouch 1rovert! That is the problem of course, German inbuilt guilt. I remember as a teenager visiting my German penfriend that she and a bunch of older teenagers gathered and expresses severe angst about the past - when they weren't even born.

I am in my80's, and was in the Blitz in London, being bombed out of my home four times.
