My Nexus 7 tablet upgraded yesterday to Android Marshmallow or something similar, since when I am getting a flag on my desktop telling me to "Grant access to your photos and media to actuate camera upload". No having a clue what this is about, I'd still like to do it just to get rid of the flag. Can any of you wizz kids advise please. Many thanks in anticipation.

If you know which app is asking for permission, you can go to Settings/ Apps and tap the app, On the next screen tap Permissions, there you will see the permissions that the app requires, and turn them on and off.

In all earlier versions of Android, you would grant all the permissions that an app required when it was installed. Marsmallow doesn't work that way. You grant permissions as and when they are required (the first time they are required). Consequently, you'll occasionally see messages asking you to confirm permissions. You can go ahead and do it.
