Bathrooms, Two Sinks Or One.

We are building our new home and will have his and hers dressing rooms with bathrooms. The plan for the guest rooms feature shower rooms with one sink, a friend said why not double sinks. I cannot imagine sharing a bathroom with my wife while we used separate sinks. Can anybody tell me why you would have two sinks?

Male and very straight but have spent most of my life where domiciliary (is that the right word?) work has been a major part of my working day. So I always tried to keep things organized and efficient. No disorganized wardrobes, clothes especially shirts hung so easier to iron, shopping to have the longest shelf life etc.

Can't see the point of double sinks. OH and I never brush our teeth at the same time, or are ever in the bathroom at the same time.
Ironing: I just don't iron if possible. Jeans maybe if they're a bit creased - and always washed inside out - smart shirts when necessary.

If you are on the toilet so long that the missus has finished using the basin by the time you're done, maybe get yourself checked out by your GP ? It's either prostate issues, or you need a regular dose of laxative !

Pusscat's right. Sinks in kitchens. Bathrooms have basins.......... unless you live in the east end of London....

Two sinks are normal ... one to wash in .. while your horse drinks from the other !
