Hello. I might need to move to London in the near future. Could someone out there give me some tips of where to avoid renting? I will be a lodger and a nice place might help keep me sane.

Can't wait to hear from you.

there are worse and more expensive places to live than on a boat. i like the idea of living on water, get rocked to sleep each night.
You'll be hard pressed to find anywhere cheap!
Or nice for that matter. Sorry, just don't like London. Good for a night out, wouldn't want to live there though.
yay london - i've lived in some of the cheapest places going up in the capital (i left about a year ago) and can confirm that cheap and nice never go together (and that cheap isn't all that cheap if you compare it to places outside the capital).

What bit of London are you interested in (north, south, etc), is it work you are travelling for or something else would help to make a recommendation
