hi my 10 year old dog has recently (in the last year or so) started eting plster from the walls, door frames and wooden doors. He has plenty of exercise, plenty of toys etc and will do it when we are there as well as when we are not. He has been to the vet - nothong wrong with teeth nd perfectly healthy. Is there something i can buy that would discourge him from doing it?

She was never a chewer so was surprised when she started… it seemed to be after we moved into a new build house – so had suggestions that she was distressed / bored / liked the taste of the plaster / she just could, so why not?!
Never did solve it and that was 2 years ago. We don’t leave her in that room now. We keep her with us, she gets walked and she is a family dog with lots of attention – the only thing is we then kitted out the shed with carpet and big bed and she sleeps in there instead of in kitchen – so no access to plasterboard walls!
She’s been fine since, so don’t think its anything to do with dog dementia (but I’m no Vet! Lol)
