i have 2 locking wheel nuts that i cannot remove from my car wheels, 2 garages have had a go but cannot get the locking wheel nuts off, now i have booked it into jaguar service and am dreading what they will charge me. I have the locking nut key but the thread on the actual nut seems to have chewed away. is this a jaguar fault and has anyone any ideas on how to remove them. thanks in advance.

You can get locking nut removal tools but as two garages have tried they probably would not do the job.
I have just done this on my sons Cougar, there was four pins on the locking nut & they had worn down, I got a smaller size socket & smacked onto the locking nut, that sorted it, Are they Alloys? If not, have you got a blow lamp? use that on the nut prior to the task of removing the way I have stated.
I have mig welded a nut on top before. That works too.
The 'bang a slightly smaller socket on' routine should work tho, if the nut is too tight.
They have previously been overtightened, or rusted up. Either way .. lack of or poor maintenance.
All four Jaguar locking nuts removed for £60 at http://lockingwheelnutsremoved.com/

And no damage.
