A minor Key would be one of the many small, sometimes unamed islets of the Florida Keys...

Well, thank you, Clannad; having driven the length of the Keys, I should have known!

Wonder if I'll win that lovely pen THIS week!!

I wanted to put in ISLET as it fits the clue and I reakised it meant the Florida keys but I also wanted 13 across to be TEENAGER - would be a brilliant answer! What have you got for 13ac then? It's stopping me getting 5dn. I'm assuming it is sottish ( a slur on Scots again!)

I got THIRTEEN for 13a - she became 13 after she was 12, maybe?

And I got SOTTISH for 5d (sorry, friends in the North!) Glaswegian (Scottish) leaving C(lubs). Whaddya think??

Thirteen - comes after 12!!
And Sottish is correct - Scottish without the c
Of course it's thirteen - couldn't see the wood for the trees (especially as I think teenager is a better answer lol). Couldn't get it out of my head.
As to your original question, MagsE. Is (permitted) let.
