Nursery. They have more overheads.
When my son went to nursery, I was paying virtually the same as my mortgage per month. I found a childminder that was much cheaper and better in care for my son.
Mine are 19 and 17 now but when they were both in nursery it cost £220 per week.

After my SIL had her baby it really wasn't worth her going back to work. Childcare fees over £1k a month. Add on her travel costs and she'd be leaving her baby all day for very little money.

I paid £750.
How long ago was that?
until i got the free hours (and a bigger mortgage) my nursery fees were double my mortgage payment - around 13k a year. Childminders are cheaper, but for us nursery works out better
ric..they can come and play in my shed for half that !!
Nursery, definitely ...
