For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.The only recent large strikes I can recall have been by public sector workers such as firemen, teachers and doctors. As far as I know, fire-stations, schools and the NHS are not actually "buyable", not even by the rich.
Of course, as things are under the present government, the last-named employer above probably will effectively be "sold" to the rich sooner rather than later!
