on my screen on the printer/ scanner it says no pc detected. Anyone help please

have you switched everything off and on again? Is the scanner a wired or wireless connection?

What brand of scanner is it ? you might have to uninstall it and reinstall it with updated drivers

so is it connected to the computer by a cable or not?

yes it is

then its wired, that rues out a problem with your wifi. In that case, try galeck’s suggestion, download the latest drivers and re install it.
