Yahoo Messenger - Want My Old One Back

I used to have yahoo messenger that was a pop up on my browser, but it has updated and now i have a tab (like facebook) i have no options for fonts or message history etc

so unless i have it open i don't know if i have a message, before it used to flash when i had a message.

The yahoo website seems to automatically opens the tab when i try and search for an install.

if i put in 11.5.9.228 which is what i need all i get are sites that Norton does not like or they try and install what seems like malware.

Any suggestions please, this is driving me mad as i am losing contact with family and friends
