Hi Seekz
Rained heavily for the last few days, sunny with a nice breeze today.
Weather has been strange this January, 40+ somedays, dropping overnight to 18. Rather a lot of stormy days too.
Finally got the mowing done, poor old mower struggled. Time to settle on the verandah and watch the world go by for a few hours.
Hope all is well down there.

Yeah, pretty good, we've had a lot of strange weather here too, way too much humidity which knocks the stuffing out of me ....never had it here as a kid so why does it come along whe I'm old and decrepit and can't cope ...I ask you !!
I've got a rough idea (very rough) where you are in nsw but you mentioned Mudgee the other day ( cor, now I'm wondering ...did you ??) ....do you know of a family called Schirmer (think that's the spelling) are still in the area ....Tony used to be out on the rigs ...oil prospecting ..with my husband ...oh donkeys years ago ....just jogged my memory !!

Not keen on humidity myself Seekz, knocks the stuffing out of me, thank goodness we usually only get a week or to of it. Very dry in general here.
Schirmer is a name that doesn't ring a bell with me, Mudgee has grown a lot in the past 20 or so years.
I'm approx 100ks north west of there and 100ks east of Dubbo on the Golden Highway, tiny little dot on the map. Are you in Adelaide or a country lass?

Yep that's just about where I had you pegged, for some reason Dubbo was in the mix ...I can imagine it's pretty dry your way most of the time.
Have only driven through to Sydney once and that was years ago, but in January and my first real experience with humidity ...oh yuck !! why do people bother to shower....? Going through the Hay plains was a pretty stark sight.
I lived by the beach as a child almost literally, but when we married we took on a small dairy farm and I loved the country ...still do but for work, kids schools, etc we came back to the suburbs to live ...down on the far southern beaches and the wineries...not too bad, but getting busier by the day ...I'd go back to the country tomorrow, just so long as someone else did the packing !!
