Meeting family and friends for a great meal in Hemingford Grey then wandering in the dark along the towpath to The Manor for an evening of M.R James ghost stories told by Robert Lloyd Parry.

Twenty of us in a 900 year old room.......candlelight, mulled wine and story telling......what could be better..........♥

Wow, Marval...you had tea with Lucy! What an amazing woman.....first being thought to be a spy....then all the evenings the American Airmen relaxed in her music room....and yes...the chess pieces are still in the garden.....or were when I was there in the summer.....
I love the attic room....with the chaffinch cage and the little mouse....a wonderful place.....can't help but leave happy and smiling.....x

Just being here with OH, going for a shower and hair-wash in a minute. Looking forward to more hectic activity tomorrow in getting organised for our GIANT JUMBLE SALE next Sat. to aid York flood relief. All go... phew!
