I agree with Dollie, I think he maybe sent the last card, thinking she'd stop being frightened and get back on track, but in the shot of him on the stairs listening to her blaming herself for being a bad mother, seemed to show him thinking he'd actually made it worse and not better as he had intended. Rumour is it's Violet.

Yup, it states in the papers that she knows who it is but then the real culprit is unmasked. And yes, in the NOTW is states that Maria still has her keys from when she was with Nick and is doing it to get her own back on Gail for splitting them up.

Nope, it was Maria....she blames Gail for splitting up her and Nicky. She's unveiled as the culprit soon, much to everyone's shock. (she still has a key to the house that Nicky gave her).
