Cock a leekie soup once the stock is ready, bit hasty trying to get both made in one day.

I can't remember the last time I had chips, I do like them but they are classed as a treat. In nearly 25 yrs I have only cooked Mr Cake chips on one occasion.

I'm not allowed to cook fish in batter :-( It's cod fillet, cooked in a skillet to get a crispy shin, then finished off in the oven. Garden peas and twice cooked thick cut chips also done in the oven:-)
