I have a "queen" size bed that is 4' 3" wide and the headboard fixings are 3' 7" apart.

I'm looking for a reasonably priced headboard for the bed. How would this dimensioned bed, be classed? Double? Small double?

Also, nothing I've looked at seems to give the dimensions of the fitting points.

Any help would be appreciated.

I thought "Queen" size was larger than double...4' for a small double, 4''6" for a double and 5' for a queen.
I should think the fixing points are standard. You should look for a double headboard by the sounds of it.

Gaw blimey!!! You're right, pasta. I'm stupid. I was thinking the exact opposite.

Thanks.
I affix the headboard to the wall using mirror plates.
That way is is solid and doesn't knock on the wall.
Also you can pull the bed out a bit to change the bedding easier.
Like hotels do really.

I fix the bed to the floor for similar reasons.
