Fao Ed..nailit......jail Etc
FAO Ed, as nailit is probably going to jail and as jail is often discussed here why don't you set up a topic/blog for us all to read the experiences of an actual prisoner? No doubt he'll have time and at least some access to the net. This could go some way to dispell a lot of common mythery on here about how comfortable the prisons are.

Hoping to get a non-custodial but if I were to be sent down I wouldnt have any internet access anyway.
People will always believe what the daily rags feed them (prisons are holiday camps etc) but if you want a look at what prison is really like then this is a good book to look at because its written by an ex screw and not a con with an axe to grind http:// www.ama zon.co. uk/Loos e-Screw -Shocki ng-Pris on-Syst em/dp/1 9044446 1X

I know this is an out of date post, but for the record prison inmates DO NOT have access to the internet !!!!
I have worked as a tutor inside a prison and the computers in the prisoners education area have NO internet access, only the prison governors office and the administrative staff computers will have internet. Prisoners are not allowed to use them.
Prisoners are not even allowed to get or send letters unless the prison staff have looked at them first!
