Which brewery's boss suffered a fatal heart attack in Blackpool in 2003, moments before his wedding? Maybe this is a current affairs question, but I have a feeling it could be Coronation Street. Have never watched the programme myself though so can't be sure.

Yes, it was a sort of spin-off around Christmas time. The character was Cecil Newton, played by George Baker who had a lucky escape before his nuptials to Bet Gilroy.
