noise and landlord
hi
just a little advice
i am a student and live in halls - privately owned
recently like for past month the pipes in room have started rattling and it gets really bad - woken up anytime tonight it was 4/5 then 9 o clock and its getting worse- sounds like a pneumatic drill going off.
i have been told it is air in the pipes
but no out of the 6/7 people i have spoken to from management has done anything
i have my exams at the moment and can;t get enought sleep due to waking up so many times in the night so can;t concentrate during day
at the moment i am stressd so much my left should feels like it is gng to dropp off
i know their something about noise and article 6 1998 human rights act or something like that , that says i shouldn;t have to put up with this
can some1 kindly tell me what to do -
if i can get legal help- mind i am a student so nothing expensive
what are my rights do i jus have to suffer a and mess up exams
thanks
